RufusRx clears routine refill requests and flags only what truly needs your review.
RufusRx is a rules engine for prescription refills — nothing more, nothing less.
Set the criteria: visit intervals, dose limits, lab requirements, controlled substance rules. Your clinical judgment, written down.
When a refill comes in, RufusRx checks it against your rules. Meets criteria? Cleared. Doesn't? Flagged for your review.
Every decision logged. Every rule that fired visible. Override anytime. Full transparency, full control.
Here's exactly what RufusRx does and doesn't do.
Routine refills are predictable. Your time shouldn't be spent on predictable things.
Stop clicking through routine refills that meet your criteria anyway. Let the system handle the obvious ones.
When everything routine is handled, you have headspace for patients who actually need your attention.
Your rules run the same way at 8am and 6pm. No fatigue, no variation, no "I forgot to check that."
Everything you need to automate refills safely. Nothing you don't.
Define rules for any medication: visit intervals, dose limits, lab requirements, patient exceptions. Plain language, no code.
Automatic flagging for Schedule II-V. Never auto-approve what shouldn't be auto-approved.
See exactly which rule fired for every refill. Exportable. Defensible. No mysteries.
Disagree with an auto-decision? Override it instantly. You're always in control.
Pulls patient data from your EHR. Pushes decisions back. Works with your existing workflow.
Mrs. Johnson needs different rules? Set patient-specific overrides. Your protocols flex to reality.
